1. Introduction
ARTHA ("the App") is developed and operated by Ballu Services and Marketing, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. This policy explains exactly what data the App collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. It is written to match the Data Safety information we declare on Google Play.
ARTHA is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Government of India or any government entity. Information about government schemes in the App is provided for educational purposes only and is sourced from official government websites, each of which is linked inside the App.
2. Data Stored Only on Your Device
All financial information you enter — transactions, income, expenses, accounts, loans, budgets, goals, udhaar (lend/borrow) records, bills, and insurance entries — is stored only on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers and we cannot access it.
Local notifications and reminders are generated entirely on your device. Deleting the App or clearing its data permanently removes this information.
3. Data We Collect
The following is the complete list of data the App collects. Each item matches our Google Play Data Safety declaration.
a) Account information — collected only if you choose to create an ARTHA account (required for AI Coach and PRO features; not required for tracking, calculators, or scheme information):
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (required at sign-up)
- User ID (generated by us to identify your account)
Purpose: account management and app functionality. Collected, not shared. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt) and are never readable by us.
b) AI Coach messages — when you use the AI Finance Coach or Tax Expert, the questions and conversation you send are transmitted to our secure backend and forwarded to an AI provider (Google Gemini and, for PRO, other supported providers) to generate a response.
- Purpose: app functionality (generating the AI response)
- Please do not enter account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive identifiers in AI chat
- Chat history shown in the App is stored on your device
c) Device or other IDs — the App displays ads through Google AdMob, which collects a device advertising ID.
- Purpose: advertising and analytics
- Shared with Google AdMob as a third-party advertising provider
d) App activity — app interactions (such as screens opened and ad interactions) are collected by Google AdMob and Google Play services.

e) App info and performance — crash logs and diagnostics may be collected by Google Play services and AdMob.
- Purpose: analytics and app functionality (fixing crashes and errors)
4. Data We Do NOT Collect
The App does not access or collect:
- Your bank accounts — there is no bank linking of any kind
- Your financial transactions, budgets, or goals (these stay on your device)
- Phone contacts or call logs
- SMS messages
- Camera or photos
- Precise or approximate location
- Health, fitness, or biometric data
5. Advertising
The App currently displays ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, app-open, and optional rewarded video ads). AdMob may use a device advertising ID to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android device settings.
Rewarded video ads are optional. Watching them can temporarily unlock premium features at no cost. You are never required to watch an ad to use the core features of the App.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini API (and other AI providers for PRO users) — processes AI Coach queries sent from our backend
- Google AdMob — serves advertisements and may collect a device advertising ID
- Google Play services — app distribution, crash reporting, and diagnostics
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Purchases and Subscriptions
ARTHA is currently free. There is no paid subscription available at this time. If a paid PRO plan is introduced in the future, any purchase made inside the Android app will be processed exclusively through Google Play's billing system, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
8. Data Security
All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS encryption in transit. Passwords are stored hashed using bcrypt. Your on-device financial data never leaves your phone.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
On-device data is retained until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Account data is retained while your account is active.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time: wealthartha.com/delete-account. We permanently delete your account data within 7 days of receiving a request.
10. Age Requirement
ARTHA is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account (offline features continue to work)

12. Educational Information Disclaimer
ARTHA provides educational financial information, calculators, and information about government schemes sourced from official government websites. This is not investment, tax, or legal advice. Calculator outputs are estimates only. AI Coach responses are AI-generated and may contain errors. Government scheme details, interest rates, and tax rules change over time — always verify on the official source linked in the App before acting. For financial decisions, consult a SEBI-registered advisor or a qualified Chartered Accountant.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the App or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
